Getaway from Waves of Thoughts

Have you gone through those days, where your mind feels heavy, so many things running in your mind,you just can't concentrate on anything although you have so many things to do..

What you usually do on those days? Keep thinking until you get back to routine? Sleep? Talk to a friend?

For me, i used to sleep for more than 16 hours(yes, that's crazy), and if i still feel heavy once up , i won't really do anything, just sit  or walk here and there and think and think and think.. 💭

One day i decided to reflect myself and it feel so bad to think about the time wasted just like that but i also don't wanna do anything that might need my 100 concentration.

When i was walking here and there, i saw my color pencils and i thought, why dont just color something. I bought a adult coloring book back in 2016 and i just colored about one half page 🙈.

That's when a decision was finally made. What to when mind feels heavy? Coloring. It doesn't require much thinking, unlike drawing, doesn't need to give the concentration. All you have to do is pick up the color pencil and color inside the lines. Simple right?

It is very important for us to feel relieved in order to move on. Everyone have their own way to get out from the situation, some might watch movie, some might just go out for a walk, window shopping.. It can be anything, but if you are feeling heavy, find a way to get yourself out of the waves of thoughts and give yourself a inner peace.

I am glad i found coloring as my way of relieve from my mind heaviness. Always remember that it only take YOU to do the best for yourself.

Attaching the coloring page i did. It was a not finished in a day, took about 11 days and of course it's not perfect, but guess what, those 11 days are the well spent time, no self indulge in overthinking , only relaxation :)

Time

Does time heal things or make believe? We just refuse to come out of some situations and dwell in it and when we are out, we say time is all we needed.

At the time something happen, we just refuse to believe it although few things are so clear. We have that liltle faith, we just don't wanna give up.

But at one point of life, we realize it ended, on that day when we refuse to believe itself. Actually all we needed is time to accept it.

Imagine if we are superb strong, for us rejection means next opportunity, NO means Next One, we could have save so much time, rather than wait for the time to accept that matter, could use that time to work on something new.

As humans, we are bound to so many emotions, it plays an important role in determining our next steps in life. A person who have a good control on it, go liltle further than the person who indulge in few emotions and dwell in it.

Time heals, time make believe, how much time, what do you want to do with that time, You decide. Time never stop for us, we age everyday, so many things can change in one minute, even one second. Time stays long enough for those who utilize it, don't stuck in it :)

Positive Vibes Only

Looking at those people who really succeed in their life, money never been their problem, they dreamed of that life, worked hard for it and living their life. And most of them, are very humble.

The way they speak, the way they carry themselves, that smile on that face. For me, that humbleness is what make them rich.

Then there is another group of people, sometime we just don't understand what they have achieved in their life that they behave so arrogantly. They just don't smile, ignorance is their way of life, they make so much of noises that is so meaningless, just as the saying, empty barrel makes the most noise.

We can earn a lot, come up in our life in various ways, but one thing that we should never lose is our values and qualities. We don't have to make extra effort to work on these values, few things are within us naturally, all we have to do is practice those positive ones over the negative ones.

That liltle practice not only create a postive vibes for ourself but to people who is around us too. Imagine how beautiful life will be with only good vibes. Even the most difficult things will seem as small matter. Life is only once, why not fill it with positive values, qualities and vibrations?

Detachment

2017, a year that taught me what is detachment. That is a very deep word and a deep life realization. But that was not the first time I came across that word.

It was 2013, got a chance to read a book, i dont really remember the title, but it was something related to Buddha. I totally agree with detachment from materials and stuff but not for the relationships. As human beings, we are living as socially dependent community. Our family are so important to us. How to just detach everything? I closed the book and never think about it again.

No matter who say what, few lessons are  only learnt by personal experiences. That's how i learnt about detachment too. Day by day, the importance of detachment is so clear to me.

But again, how to detach, when we are so attached to everything? When i started to believe in detachment, i was very confused. Again, it took a lot of life experience to realize how to practice it in life.

Somehow, we are still living in a society, we have our like and dislikes, dreams and desires, families and acquaintances, that we still need to 'attached' to. One fine day, i just concluded to myself, be attached consciously, be detached subconsciously.

As easy as it sounds, it still take a lot of sacrifices, lost of loved ones, heartbreaks, bad experiences to realize it. One who how to differ life in conscious world and subconscious world knows what meant to be where in both worlds.

I know i am not a monk, but i realized that the concept of 'let go' in form of detachment. As a 28 year old, not ready for detachment in conscious level but i am glad i have fix it in my behind mind so that i don't suffer when there is a major lost in my life. No one will get everything they want and no one will live forever, isn't it?

Like a kid

I was going through posts in Pinterest, suddenly came a across a simple yet beautiful watercolor drawing. To be honest, i don't really how to use watercolor, its always too dark or too watery.

Knowing myself, i decided to recreate the drawing i saw in a piece of paper, using oil pastel. The result? As you can see, i think a 5 years old would have done better. But that thought made me feel like a kid. 

A kid, that don't need to worry about perfections, blend of colors, follow the line... Just nothing. As an adult, we don't have a chance to not worry about those little things, isn't it? 

Miss those moments where even our scribble is the best thing we have ever draw. That self expectation become too much that we stopped enjoy doing little things that once made us so happy. 

I am posting this today, just as a self reminder, there is still a kid inside you, who love to do little things and be very happy about it. 

I was happy, i laughed so much looking at my own drawing, remembering back when i was a kid, who does not need to worry about perfection, i just draw what i want to draw and showed my mom happily, and yes , she said that too, "like a kid".Ha- ha...

I had a chance to escape from this adulthood, even just for a while. .

Okay, stop laughing already.. Ha-ha!!!
